I know that you did a post a while ago about dating people who earn less/have more time, which I enjoyed. I am curious what readers think about this, as I never had much of an experience dating guys as busy as me.
I think, too, that some of us had an entirely different issue, in that we were dating guys who were just as ambitious and busy. It is also possible some people are just not willing to put the time into dating.
In the end, even people who are too busy for dating may find the time to do so, if they truly wish. While it is most likely the case that you are busy, if you truly want to meet men – or be in a relationship with men – you can find the time to go on dates. Even if you are a legitimately someone who has a very hectic schedule and does not have much free time, you can shift things a little bit so you have some dating time.
With your busy schedule, getting to dating when you are feeling inspired means that is going to be rare. It takes time and energy to find your matches, and if you are adamant about being just too busy to go out and look for love, that is never going to happen.
If you are constantly telling friends/parents/anyone else that you are too busy to date or find love, then you are probably kidding yourself. It is easy to feel that pressures from daily life are making it seem like you are too busy to date. Life can seem so unbelievably busy, the idea of finding the time to take on another commitment feels overwhelming.
If you are one of these people who is involved in a relationship with someone who is constantly busy, it is only natural that you might feel left behind. Every relationship has phases where one person may grow distant from the other, but if your partner is suddenly just too busy for you, experts say that may be part of a far bigger problem. As important as it is to ensure that you keep your private life on the go, you will also want to be able to vocalize that you are feeling neglected in the relationship.
Again, if you are feeling that this person is unwilling to make compromises and put the effort into seeing and spending time with you, then that relationship may not be one that is best for you to put effort into. People often get this idea that the thing that makes relationships work is spending time together all of the time. Even if you are dating someone that does not have much time, if you can dedicate some of those moments to one another, that helps you feel valued more, it helps your relationship grow. Even though they are busy, if your partner is trying to balance their life as best they can, they will want to make sure that this relationship will last.
Until the moment when he is not, make only some adjustments, see the bright side in the relationship between both of you, and you will see how great the relationship is already. Once you start dating the busy guy, now is a good time to learn to let the relationship blossom.
Despite that, we think that even when you feel like you are too busy to be in a relationship, there is always a place for love. Women are nurturers, they want to create bonds, they want to create a setting that feels like a home, so when you are dating someone that does not have time to be there for this, that can really knock you down. I will say, however, in this class-the men with the highest accomplishments-it is easier to tell when someone has decided that the time is right for marriage, because they are a lot more intense on a first date, and they are much more blunt when they are not interested (which is actually appreciated).
